willow + myles // Durango, CO.

I'll never forget the day Willow called me about shooting her wedding. Listening to her describe her vision of the day was like music to a photographer's ears. There was talk of a vintage glam theme, a custom made dress, and the Blue Lake Ranch. She didn't want a lot of lengthy, formal portraits, but instead a ton of candid, real moments. I was also told there would be a shaman, hip hop music, and endless mojitos. There's nothing that I like more than a bride and groom that make their wedding day truly unique to who they are, regardless of tradition or what people say you're supposed to do. It should be relaxed, fun, and a grand celebration. And September 25th was no exception. It was a beautiful day, and they are a beautiful team those two. They've managed to find a rhythm to the unexpected, somewhat chaotic challenges in life. They are a unit, and now a wonderful family. I couldn't feel more blessed to have been invited into this time in their lives. Thank you both, from the bottom of my heart.

And, in case you missed it, you can see their engagement photos here.
