ReplyDeleteYou do a good job of intertwining the people pictures with the environmental elements. I love the picture of the cake - it shows height and dimension. And the pictures of the table settings. They really give a sense of the ambiance and connect with the people's expressions.
Are you using flash at all?
yes, but only when I have to. all of the indoor shots had to be taken with a mix of window light and flash.

i love your work. you really are an inspiration for me. i do have one question though. what dimensions do you use for you photos when you export from lightroom for your blog?
ReplyDeleteHi Megan! Thanks for the sweet words! Currently I am exporting at 800x800 pixels. I've tried all kinds of things and feel like no matter what I do, Blogger is still going to change them upon upload-frustrating. I often feel like Blogger is causes my pictures to look unsharp and desaturated as well.
